Hydrostatic Level Gauge: Precise Tracking of Millimeter-scale Settlement Variations

Zheda Jingyi YDA-M100 Hydrostatic Level Gauge is a high-precision measuring device dedicated to long-term settlement monitoring, especially suitable for settlement and inclination monitoring of large buildings, bridges, dams and other infrastructure.

Working Principle

The hydrostatic level gauge measurement system is built based on the communicating vessel principle. Magnetostrictive level sensors are installed at each monitoring point and connected via communicating pipes to form an integrated liquid level system.

When foundation or structural settlement occurs, the liquid level at each measuring point changes relative to the reference point, driving relative displacement between the magnetic float ring and the sensor probe rod.
